Welcome back. How are you?
The following event was a must for me, an opportunity to learn how to apply my make-up and also about skincare. When the tickets went live, I felt anxious, because I knew the tickets were limited. But anyways, here goes…
I was so excited for this event. It sold out in a few hours. Yes, I was very lucky to be there. The event was very well planned. We had a personalised skincare consultation to establish the regime for our skin types. This included the foundation, concealer and powder shade for our skin tones. I also had a hand massage, it was much needed. We were treated to a nice breakfast. After everyone was done with their skin consultations and determining skin tone shades, the makeup masterclass started.
Lucoh Mhlongo, Elizabeth Arden’s Celebrity National Makeup Artist guided us through the class, from doing eyebrows, contouring and what brushes to use. We were spoiled. The class ended with a Q and A and some champagne. (Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture with him, nor Elizabeth Arden’s ambassador #sadfordays).
Afterwards, we had lunch and got served canapés.
BIG UPS to the One and Only staff, for the friendliness and also the DELICIOUS food.
R495 well spent.
Thank you so much. I’ll do swatches on my next post.
Till next time.
